Historical Background
By the mid-2030s, the concept of highly specialized vehicles on the battlefield had become completely obsolete. New types of conflicts required military equipment to be as versatile as possible: capable of suppressing infantry, destroying heavy armored vehicles, and countering swarms of drones.
The “Typhoon-K-N” marked the culmination of the “Typhoon” platform’s development. The designers opted to forgo the troop compartment in favor of a massive, versatile launcher and reinforced armor. The vehicle earned the unofficial nickname “Thunderer” for its ability to deliver devastating strikes from covered positions, while remaining a formidable opponent in close combat thanks to the “Spitsa-M” module.

Reservations (Building)
Combined+DZ multilayer armor (steel+ceramic+composite), reinforced with third-generation “Relikt-K” integrated dynamic protection. (The front of the hull and the crew compartment are reliably protected against 12.7-mm armor-piercing rounds.) The sides and rear are protected against large-caliber rounds and fragments. In the AW configuration, the “Relikt-K” dynamic protection system covers more than 90% of the hull’s surface area.
Mine protection at the MRAP level. Deep V-shaped underbody and special crew seats.
“Afganit-M” Special Protection System. A next-generation, upgraded active protection system. Automatically intercepts up to 4 incoming ATGMs or armor-piercing shells per engagement, with a reload time of 12 seconds. Also effective against attacks from the upper hemisphere.
Crew: 5 people.
Firepower
The main feature of the “Typhoon-K-N” is its hybrid armament.
Universal PU (Main Weapon):
MLRS Mode: A salvo of 122-mm cluster rockets fired at an area target.
Thermobaric blast: Missiles that deal massive single-hit damage and have a high chance of disabling modules within the blast radius.
Cruise Missiles/Drones: A unique mechanism for launching loitering munitions that the player can manually control for reconnaissance or to attack targets behind cover.
Module 32V01 “Spitsa-M” (Auxiliary):
30-mm autocannon: It is highly accurate.
Programmable landmines: Effective against lightly armored targets and capable of damaging vehicles hiding behind low obstacles.
6×6 wheel configuration; permanent all-wheel drive; independent suspension on all wheels.
The YAMZ-850 GTW power unit is a next-generation hybrid diesel-electric power unit with a power output of ~650 l.s. (rounded in AW). An additional electric motor on each axle provides instant acceleration.
Maximum speed (highway) ~115 km/h. An exceptionally high speed for a car in this class, allowing for quick lane changes.
Maximum speed (off-road) ~75 km/h. Thanks to the large wheels and adjustable tire pressure.
Acceleration (0–30 km/h): Very high. Thanks to its electric motors, it accelerates faster than many tracked vehicles.
